At 11:18 a.m. on June 24, the 66th 82,000-ton bulk carrier built by CSSC Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, for W-Marine Company was successfully launched.
The ship was placed on the slipway on May 8. Facing the impact of the plum rain weather, the project team made overall plans in advance, implemented rainproof measures, and completed the inspection and treatment of the outer plate in a timely manner, ensuring the continuity of the outer plate coating. In addition, the supervision team fully affirmed the construction quality of the ship.
At 1:58 p.m. the same day, the reference section of the 56th 82,000-ton bulk carrier built by CSSC Chengxi for Lianghe Group was successfully placed on the slipway for assembly.
