Peel Ports Group partnered with Chane, one of Europe’s largest bulk maritime transport operators, to capitalize on the growing demand for liquid bulk products, whose main terminal in the United Kingdom is located at the Port of Liverpool.

Phil Hall, director of the Port of Liverpool, part of the Peel Ports group, stated that “the transport of liquid bulk is becoming an increasingly important aspect of our cargo offering at the Port of Liverpool. This new alliance with Chane will strengthen our ability to support customers in multiple high-growth sectors.”

Both companies will collaborate to jointly attract new and existing importers and exporters, with the aim of increasing the volume of liquid bulk shipments through their joint networks.

The alliance will focus on strengthening commercial reach in key industrial sectors, supporting the increase in volume of liquid bulk products.

The agreement comes at a time of sustained growth in demand for liquid bulk products, driven by changes in energy needs, the increased adoption of biofuels, and the continued reliance on specialized logistics solutions for chemical and food products.
