Peninsula has expanded its infrastructure at the Port of Rotterdam by opening a new biofuel storage and blending facility at the Chane Terminal, the company said in a news release.
Phase 1 of the project is now operational, adding nine tanks dedicated to biofuel storage and blending with a total capacity of 30,000 cubic metres.
The facility holds ISCC certification and Nea registration and includes three jetties and seven berths for barges up to 135 metres, as well as a jetty for seagoing vessels, enabling inter-terminal transfers with major oil companies.
Phase 2, expected in January 2026, will add eight more tanks and increase total capacity to 110,000 cubic metres.
The setup supports blending of any biofuel grade, from B5 to B100, and allows Peninsula to control ratios and product quality.
Peninsula is an international marine fuel supplier operating as a commercial entity that provides bunker services and related fuel solutions to shipping customers in global ports. The company manages supply, logistics, and distribution of marine fuels and maintains a network of operational assets and regional offices.
