Brazilian bunker supplier Petrobras has extended its advance sales period for marine fuels from 15 to 20 days, effective October 13, according to a customer notification.
Clients can now book bunker fuels up to 20 days in advance, with sales beyond this window available by consultation.
The extension means customers now have increased flexibility in planning their fuel procurement schedules.
State-owned Petrobras is a leading physical supplier in Brazil, performing deliveries in multiple locations, including Santos and Rio de Janeiro.
Earlier this year, the company offered progressive discounts for bunker deliveries exceeding 1,500 tonnes in Santos in a bid to encourage larger-scale operations and optimize logistics costs for customers.
And in May it offered prompt availability of its VLS B24 biodiesel drop-in solution, with a lead time for deliveries of five days from the nomination date.
Also in 2025, Petrobras confirmed that it had received ISCC EU RED certification for VLS B24 that is blended and commercialised at its TERIG terminal in the Port of Rio Grande.
