1. Vessel-Related Charges (Updated per JPHA 2024 Tariff)

– JPY 2.8/GT for commercial vessels
– Minimum charge: JPY 50,000 per call

– Pilotage Fees:
– Basic fee: JPY 28,000 + JPY 1,200 per meter of LOA
– Night surcharge (2000-0600): 30% additional
– Emergency pilotage: 200% of standard fee

2. Safety & Environmental Charges
– Oil Boom Deployment:
– Mandatory for tankers >500 GT
– JPY 220,000/day (including deployment/retrieval)
– Approved providers: Nippon Oil Boom Co. Ltd. only
– Waste Management:
– Garbage: JPY 8,000/m³ (segregated), JPY 12,000/m³ (mixed)
– Sludge: JPY 55,000/ton (pre-treatment certificate required)
– Bilge water: JPY 75,000/ton (test report mandatory)
3. Cargo Operations
– Container Handling:
– JPY 4,500/TEU for gantry crane service
– JPY 3,200/TEU for mobile crane
– Reefer monitoring: JPY 800/TEU/day
– Bulk Cargo:
– Trimming: JPY 2,800/ton
– Sampling: JPY 15,000 per lot (ISO 10725 compliant)
4. Regulatory Compliance
– ISPS Charges:
– Level 1: JPY 60,000
– Level 2: JPY 120,000
– 24/7 security available: JPY 25,000/hour
– Customs Clearance:
– Standard: JPY 45,000
– Express (2-hour): JPY 75,000
– Requires original manifests + 3 copies
5. Special Services
– Emergency Response:
– Fireboat standby: JPY 180,000/hour
– Oil spill response team: JPY 350,000 activation fee
– Technical Services:
– Underwater inspection: JPY 450,000 (including diver certification)
– Tank cleaning certification: JPY 85,000 per tank
