Operational Notes

  1. Tidal datum: Imari Port uses Local Lowest Low Water (LLW) as chart datum (2.1m below MSL)
  2. Mooring arrangements must account for seasonal winds (prevailing NW in winter)
  3. All cargo operations suspended when wind exceeds Beaufort 6 (25kt sustained)
  4. Winter operations (Dec-Feb) require anti-icing measures per MLIT Winter Navigation Guidelines
  5. Hazardous cargo operations require 24-hour advance notice to Port Authority

  2. Verify actual port conditions via VHF CH12 prior to entry
  3. Report discrepancies to Imari Port Authority via official channels only
