7. Operational Parameters

  • Maximum permissible current: 2.5 knots at spring tide
  • Tidal range: 1.8m (spring), 1.2m (neap)
  • Pilotage: Compulsory for vessels >500 GT (24hr notice required)
  • Tug assistance: Required for vessels >10,000 DWT (2 tugs minimum)
  • Port operating hours: 24/7 (some berths have daylight restrictions)
