The Port of Seville and its port community ProSevillaPort intensify commercial relations with the business cluster Andalucía Logistics.
The president of the Port Authority of Seville, Rafael Carmona Ruiz, stated that “for us it is very important that the businesspeople in our area, who will have a lot of interaction with the Córdoba Logistics Base, know all the potential of the Seville port and the opportunities it offers.”
After a tour of the port facility, Carmona conveyed to the companies of Andalucía Logistics that the Seville port stands out for its synchromodality, by combining maritime and land transport via railway. This translates into greater efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability of transport chains.
Likewise, he highlighted the role of the Logistics Activities Zone, the first in the south of the peninsula, with more than 200,000 square meters of state-of-the-art warehouses and a cold hub that serves the entire south of the peninsula and North Africa.
He also outlined future developments related to the energy transition and digitalization, emphasizing the role of the Port of Seville as an engine for the region’s business fabric.
