PPA S.A. Receives the Diversity Label from the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs

Piraeus Port Authority S.A. was among the 41 major private-sector companies in Greece to receive the Diversity Label for the first time, an institutional distinction awarded by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs, recognizing companies that implement policies and practices promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

The award ceremony took place on Thursday, 18 June 2026, at the Byzantine and Christian Museum, during a special event organized by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs. The initiative recognizes companies that move from commitment to action, applying inclusion in everyday business practice through transparent procedures, equal opportunities, accessible processes and fair treatment of employees.

PPA S.A. was listed first among the 41 companies receiving the Diversity Label, based on the chronological order of submission finalization. For PPA S.A., this distinction confirms the Company’s continued commitment to creating a modern, safe and inclusive working environment, where all employees are treated with respect and have equal opportunities for development and progress.

The Diversity Label was received on behalf of PPA S.A. by the Company’s CEO, Mr. Su Xudong, in the presence of the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs, Ms. Domna Michailidou, the Minister of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou, and the Deputy Minister for Equality and Human Rights, Ms. Elena Rapti.

As Mr. Su stated:

“The Diversity Label is a great honour for PPA S.A. and, at the same time, an important recognition of our efforts to strengthen equality, inclusion and respect in the workplace. For us, diversity is not only a value, but an essential element of a modern and responsible company. Our goal is to continue shaping a working environment where every person feels that they has a place, a voice and equal opportunities.”

The event was also addressed by the Secretary of the Board of Directors of PPA S.A., Mr. Savvas Sanozidis, who presented the Company’s relevant actions.
