The Italian Ports Association – Assoporti will hold its Public Assembly on the next December 3, 2025, a key appointment for the national infrastructural and logistics sector. The event, which will take place at the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Hotel in Rome starting at 9:30 AM, will be dedicated to the theme “Ports: a network of values,” emphasizing the strategic role of ports as central nodes of an integrated supply chain that connects economy, transport, and sustainable development.

The President of Assoporti, Rodolfo Giampieri, will present updated data and results on the Italian port system, offering a look at growth prospects and challenges in terms of competitiveness, digitalization, and environmental sustainability. The assembly will also represent the first official appearance of the newly appointed presidents of the Port System Authorities (AdSP), key figures for the revival and modernization of national ports.

For the logistics and shipping sector, the appointment constitutes an opportunity for discussion on crucial themes such as the efficiency of port supply chains, the reduction of ship turnaround times, technological innovation for cargo monitoring, and integration with European transport corridors. No less relevant is the focus on the blue economy, with Italian ports increasingly involved in sustainable development strategies, intelligent management of marine resources, and the promotion of economic activities with low environmental impact.

The Assoporti assembly fits into a context of growing attention to Italian port infrastructures, considered not only an engine for foreign trade but also tools for enhancing the territory and transitioning towards a greener and more resilient logistics. In this perspective, the network of Italian ports is promoted as a network of values, capable of combining economic efficiency, technological innovation, and environmental responsibility.

The detailed program of the event will be made available in the coming days, but the event already promises to become a reference point for port operators, institutions, and stakeholders in the logistics supply chain.
