Crude oil exports from Russia’s Black Sea terminals are showing remarkable operational resilience, despite Ukrainian drone and missile strikes on Sheskharis. The terminal in question, which exceeded 830 kbd in October, suspended loadings for a short period, but activity was restored relatively quickly, in conjunction with activity on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) pipeline. This fact proves that the Russian crude hub in the Black Sea remains functionally stable.
The return of tankers, such as the “Delta Eurydice”, which completed its loadings, confirms the first signs of a return to “normality”. However, the ongoing GNSS interferences in the area are hindering the precise monitoring of vessel movements, reinforcing the sense of uncertainty regarding the visibility of crude oil flow and the operational status near Novorossiysk.
