Russian oil product exports via Tuapse to rise sharply in May, traders say

Must read

Russian oil product exports from the Black Sea port of Tuapse are set to rise sharply in May to 1.532 million metric tons from the 0.727 million tons scheduled for April, two traders said.

Export loadings will rise in May with traders expecting the resumption of oil products shipments from Rosneft’s ROSN.MM Tuapse refinery, market sources added.

The port tranships oil products from the Tuapse refinery, as well as fuel from other Rosneft refineries delivered to the port by rail.

Oil processing and output were halted at the Tuapse refinery following a fire in January.

The export-oriented Tuapse refinery with an annual capacity of 12 million metric tons (240,000 barrels per day) produces naphtha, fuel oil, vacuum gasoil and high-sulphur diesel.
