The company is implementing corresponding technological upgrades across the entire fleet, with measurable results.
According to its data, carbon intensity decreased by 6.09% in 2024 compared to 2023, following the reductions of 7.42% in the 2022–2023 period and 7.16% in 2021–2022.
Overall, Safe Bulkers has achieved a 19.3% reduction in carbon intensity from 2021 to 2024, confirming the steady downward trend and the effectiveness of its environmental strategy.
