“Salute in Viaggio” continues in Messina, the itinerant proximity healthcare initiative promoted by the Gruppo Caronte & Tourist in collaboration with the Italian Red Cross. The project offers free screenings at various stops in the suburbs of the city on the Strait, with particular attention to people in conditions of social fragility.
The next appointment is set for May 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Church of Villaggio C.E.P. The initiative will involve the centers of Contesse, Santa Lucia sopra Contesse, San Filippo, Messina 2, Pistunina, Villaggio Aldisio, Minissale and surrounding areas. Specialist visits in cardiology, pediatrics, otorhinolaryngology and dermatology will be available, as well as consultations for prevention with a dental hygienist, audiometrists, a nutritionist and a desk dedicated to osteoporosis prevention.
