The Santos Port Authority (APS) and the Santos Technology Park Foundation (FPTS) signed a technical cooperation agreement on Tuesday morning (Sept. 30) to integrate the region’s innovation and sustainability agendas, accelerate the development of solutions for the port complex’s challenges, and strengthen the local ecosystem.

The signing ceremony took place at APS headquarters, with the presence of the public company’s president, Anderson Pomini, and FPTS president, Anderson Bittencourt. Among the key goals of the agreement is the unification of major event agendas: the Santos Summit, organized by the Technology Park, and APS initiatives such as the ESG Journey, ESG Challenge, and ESG Award.

These initiatives will now be held under a single brand, ColaBora Mundo, scheduled for October 25–29, optimizing resources and amplifying socio-environmental impact while broadening their reach to diverse audiences.

“More than just integrating agendas, this partnership is vital for us to project the Port of the future—one that can grow sustainably, aligned with best ESG practices, and meet the rising demands of the global market for high sustainability standards,” said Pomini.

According to Bittencourt, cooperation is key to driving the innovation ecosystem in the Baixada Santista region. “This is the renewal of a great partnership. We already have a startup incubated together, and now we move forward to create opportunities for more students, researchers, and entrepreneurs to develop solutions to the challenges of Latin America’s largest port,” he noted.
