The Santos Port Authority (APS) published a call for bids (Notice No. 67/2025) on October 2 to contract for maintenance services for perimeter roads and other areas under its responsibility. Proposals will be accepted until October 23. The notice and its annexes are available on the company’s website.

The contract, valid for 30 months, covers asphalt and cobblestone pavement repairs, stormwater drainage system maintenance, and the supply of equipment, materials, and labor for the execution of the work, as well as other specialized services.

The new tender includes items not found in the previous road maintenance bid. Examples include cold-bagged asphalt for immediate repairs and polymer-modified asphalt, which offers several advantages over conventional asphalt, including a greater quantity of services and other essential items designed to deliver faster solutions and handle emergencies.

According to APS Infrastructure Director Orlando Razões, the new bid “seeks to ensure roads in good condition, providing fluidity and safety for cargo transportation and well-being for the population that circulates on the perimeter roads along Santos and Guarujá, as well as preserving public assets and contributing positively to the Port-City relationship.”

The contract value will be based on the unit prices presented in the proposal, and payments will be made according to the monthly measurement of services executed and approved by APS inspectors. The winning company must demonstrate experience in executing services of the same nature and complexity.
