Sapura Energy
Malaysian offshore services provider Sapura Energy has been awarded a contract to provide pan-Malaysia underwater services for the Petronas group of companies and petroleum arrangement contractors.
The company said in a stock exchange filing that its subsidiary Sapura Subsea Services had won the contract from PTTEP Sabah Oil, which will run until February 21, 2029.
The value has not been disclosed but Sapura said that it is a call-out contract with agreed unit rates.
The scope of work will cover the provision of diving support vessels, air and saturation driving systems, remotely operated vehicles and other subsea services, including inspection, repair and maintenance, decommissioning and other works related to PTTEP’s subsea facilities in Sabah and Sarawak waters. Earlier this month Sapura bagged a similar five-year deal from Shell.
