Recently, the “Energy Embracer” drilling platform, owned by Shandong Ocean Energy under Shandong Ocean Group, was successfully towed to the waters of Oman in the Middle East to provide offshore oil and gas drilling services for Oman’s Global Integrated Energy Group (hereinafter referred to as Oman OQ Group).
This project marks the second collaboration between Shandong Ocean Energy and Oman OQ Group, demonstrating that the drilling platform management and service capabilities of Shandong Ocean Energy have gained full recognition from international clients. It further solidifies the long-term, stable strategic partnership between the two parties and effectively enhances Shandong Ocean Energy’s market competitiveness in the offshore oil and gas drilling sector in the Middle East.
Moving forward, Shandong Ocean Energy will firmly adhere to the three core principles of drilling platform operations—”safety, quality improvement, and cost reduction.” The company will comprehensively benchmark against top-tier international enterprises, strengthen safety controls, refine equipment maintenance, deepen supply chain integration, and advance digital management. These efforts will serve as a robust foundation for ensuring global energy security and supporting the development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
