On September 10, at the opening ceremony of the 20th China International Logistics Festival and the 22nd China International Transportation and Logistics Expo, Shandong Port Logistics Group released a series of digital products of “land and sea”, which will create six platforms to accurately match supply and demand for customers, open up the industrial chain and supply chain, and build a symbiotic and win-win supply chain service ecology.

As the core body of Shandong Port to integrate logistics resources, develop modern logistics, and promote transformation and upgrading, Shandong Port Logistics Group grasps the development trend of digital logistics, combines AI large models, digital twins, intelligent algorithms, Internet of Things, blockchain and other technologies with business development, promotes the application of digital technology in various logistics scenarios, creates digital products with port characteristics, realizes digital logistics upgrades, and improves the quality and efficiency of port logistics services.

“Previously, in order to improve the efficiency of logistics services and allow customers to ‘run errands’, we have created ‘one access to all directions’ digital logistics products (land-sea communication, sea delivery, land transportation, railway transportation, cross-border delivery).” Chen Anyi, director of the Luhaitong Operation Center of Shandong Port Logistics Group, introduced that on this basis, Shandong Port Logistics Group continues to integrate logistics resources, focus on the whole chain logistics services, and build a comprehensive service platform for chemical supply chains, a comprehensive service platform for business integrated service platforms, comprehensive service platforms for transportation supply chains, comprehensive service platforms for multimodal transport supply chains, comprehensive service platforms for warehousing supply chains, and comprehensive service platforms for commodity supply chains.

Taking the multimodal transport integrated service platform as an example, Shandong Port Logistics Group has deeply cultivated the logistics channel along the Yellow River Basin, built an integrated service system of “customs, ports, stations, boxes, cargo, yards, trains, and ships”, and provided customized modules such as railway loading and unloading, yard management, empty container allocation, instruction management, warehousing services, inland booking customs declaration and AI intelligent identification for different inland ports to solve the pain points of customers such as “difficulty in using containers”, extend the inland port format, and empower the high-quality development of enterprises.
