Thousands of shippers, which represent the container carriers’ customers in The European Shippers’ Council (ESC), are filing an appeal to the EU Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager, to refrain from entering a deals with shipowners, which could legalize the way in which they publicly announce rate increases.
