Company to oversee the 1,500‑slip Lake Michigan marina in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois
MarineMax, announced that SkipperBud’s, a MarineMax company, has been named the operator of North Point Marina in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, the largest marina on the Great Lakes.
SkipperBud’s will oversee day‑to‑day marina operations, including on‑site management and customer service.
Located on Illinois’ Lake Michigan shoreline between Chicago and Milwaukee, the 140‑acre, full‑service facility features a protected floating dock system with approximately 1,500 slips accommodating a broad range of recreational vessels up to 70 feet and is adjacent to Illinois Beach State Park.
