On Friday, October 03, 2025, the swearing-in ceremony of the first-year Naval Cadets of the Hellenic Navy and the Cadet Ensigns of the Hellenic Coast Guard took place at the Hellenic Naval Academy (HNA).
Present at the swearing-in ceremony were the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff Vice Admiral Dimitrios Eleftherios Kataras HN, also representing the Chief of HNDGS, the Chief of the Hellenic Coast Guard Vice Admiral HCGS Tryfon Kontizas, representatives of the Chiefs of the General Staffs of the Armed Forces and the Security Forces, members of the Supreme Naval Council, as well as relatives and friends of those who were sworn in.
A total of forty-eight (48) Naval Cadets were sworn in, of which three (03) are from the Republic of Cyprus, one (01) from Senegal, one (01) from Tunisia and one (01) from Albania, as well as twenty-three (23) Cadet Ensigns of the H.C.G.
