The Fully Automated Container Terminal of Qingdao Portof Shandong Port Group (SPG)has continuedincreasingitsproduction efficiencyin recent days. Official statistics showed that theport’s terminalcreated a complete new production record of 7,157.25 TEUs(twenty-foot equivalent units)on Oct 30, an increase of 6.83 percent year-on-year, which has broken the previous day shift production record of 6,699.75 TEUs that was seton June 18.
Staff members of the fullyautomatedcontainerterminal at Qingdao Portmade meticulous arrangements,including collaboration between port-related institutions, resource planning and allocation, ship planning and other aspects. Additionally, they workedwith other departmentsto ensure the smooth arrival and departure of ships in an orderly way. All these efforts have laida solid foundation for the high production record.
The fullyautomatedcontainerterminalwill deliver more and greater achievements through its strong strengths, in a bid to forge ahead towards Shandong Port Group’s ambition of becoming a world-class sea port.
