As a result of ongoing reviews of operating conditions and its constant commitment to offering value to passengers traveling aboard the Genting Dream, the Star Navigator and the Star Voyager, StarDream Cruises, owner of StarCruises and Dream Cruises, announced the reduction of the fuel surcharge on its regional routes.

Passengers departing from Singapore and Malaysia will enjoy a full exemption from the fuel surcharge, while those departing from Taiwan and Hong Kong will benefit from a 50% reduction in the current surcharge.

The exemption and reduction of the fuel surcharge apply to voyages departing on or after June 26, 2026. The revised fuel surcharge structure takes into account the operational requirements of the different routes in the region and reflects the gradual improvement of fuel market conditions.

“Since fuel prices have stabilized, we are pleased to reduce and, where possible, completely eliminate the fuel surcharge on all our voyages. We have always adopted a transparent approach regarding fuel surcharges, applying them only when necessary and reviewing them periodically. As operating conditions improve, we believe it is important to pass these benefits on to our passengers,” noted Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises.

StarDream Cruises reported that it will continue to monitor developments in global fuel prices and will review its surcharge arrangements as appropriate.
