Sumec Shipbuilding Successfully Delivers Two Vessels in a Row

Recently, Sumec Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as Sumec) has successfully delivered two ships consecutively through its affiliated shipbuilding company.

The Crown63 3.0 bulk carrier “HARILAOS JUNIOR”, built by Sumec Shipbuilding for Greek shipowner JME Shipping, was successfully delivered. This vessel is the second ship in the same series built by Sumec Shipbuilding for JME Shipping, marking the continued deepening of cooperation between the two parties in the field of bulk carrier construction. The Crown63 3.0 bulk carrier is a flagship product of Sumec Shipbuilding, featuring independent intellectual property rights, high construction standards, and advanced design concepts. Its hull lines have been optimized, making it greener, smarter, more energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly, earning a good reputation among global shipowners.

The 41,000 dwt Handysize bulk carrier “ERMIONE”, built by Sumec Shipbuilding for Greek shipowner BMC Shipping, was successfully delivered. The “ERMIONE” is the third ship in this series built by Sumec Shipbuilding for BMC Shipping. This ship type features an optimized shallow draft design to provide the maximum possible deadweight tonnage. It offers advantages such as compliance with the latest environmental regulations, lower fuel consumption, and is equipped with cranes providing self-loading and unloading capabilities, offering customers a competitive transportation solution.
