On August 25, T.S. Lines announced its financial results for the first half of 2025. During the reporting period, the company achieved revenue of USD 641 million, a year-on-year increase of 18.7%; profit attributable to equity shareholders was USD 189 million, a significant surge of 222.0% year-on-year.
Regarding the increase in performance, T.S. Lines stated that it primarily benefited from the strong performance of the Greater China-Southeast Asia route and the Greater China-Northeast Asia route, with average freight rates of USD /TEU and USD /TEU, respectively, leading to a significant improvement in unit revenue. Additionally, the average freight rate for the North Asia-Southeast Asia route also experienced robust growth.
It was reported that in the first half of 2025, T.S. Lines made significant progress in both route expansion and optimizing its fleet structure.
In terms of route expansion, during the reporting period, while continuing to deepen its presence in regional markets, T.S. Lines actively expanded into long-haul, high-value segments. Its operational focus extended to the Trans-Pacific, Middle East, and East Africa markets. Furthermore, starting from April 2025, it officially launched the Asia-Mexico route, further expanding into the Latin American market and broadening the diversity of its global service coverage and revenue structure.
During the reporting period, T.S. Lines’ overall Trans-Pacific routes (including the US West Coast and Mexico segments) handled a total volume of 36,270 TEU, reflecting the region’s advantages and potential for high unit rates, which helps T.S. Lines strengthen its deep-sea market layout and revenue structure.
As of June 30, 2025, T.S. Lines operated a total of 49 routes, of which 11 were independently operated, 24 were jointly operated, 11 involved slot exchanges, and 3 involved slot charters. Its network covers 60 major ports in 22 countries and regions worldwide.
In terms of fleet structure, during the reporting period, T.S. Lines maintained a high proportion of owned capacity. The advantage of a younger fleet age supported service stability and operational flexibility.
According to statistics from Alphaliner, as of August 26, 2025, T.S. Lines’ operating capacity was 40 vessels, totaling 106,252 TEU. This included 35 owned vessels with 88,422 TEU and 5 chartered vessels with 17,830 TEU, ranking it 20th globally in terms of capacity.
Looking ahead to the second half of the year, T.S.
