Tallink’s Victoria I, which operates on the Helsinki–Tallinn route, will move to a new berth at the Port of Helsinki’s West Terminal on Wednesday, 5 August. The change shortens the walking distance for passengers from the terminal to the ship. Victoria will arrive at its new berth for the first time on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and will depart from there for Tallinn the same evening at 6:35 p.m.
The berth change is related to the renovation and infrastructure works to be carried out at the Port of Helsinki’s West Harbour in the coming years, as well as the concentration of Tallinn traffic at the West Harbour.
Until now, Victoria has used the berth located near the old T1 terminal, which has since been demolished. In the future, the vessel will use the right-hand berth of the T2 terminal, alternating it with Eckerö Line’s Finlandia. Tallink’s MyStar and Megastar will continue operating from their current berth on the left side of the terminal.
Victoria was docked in Naantali in March 2026, during which a new passenger entrance was built on the seventh deck. In Helsinki, passengers will henceforth board the vessel through this entrance, while in Tallinn the fifth-deck entrance will remain in use.
