Tauck’s 2025 program includes a new river itinerary, more Seine capacity, additional Mediterranean cruises and its first Tauck River Academy for travel advisors.

Among the new Mediterranean cruises are ‘Aegean Voyage: Istanbul to Athens’ and ‘Rome, the Amalfi Coast & Sicily.’

The 14-day Aegean program begins with an included three-night stay at the InterContinental Hotel Istanbul and an in-depth exploration of the city. Travelers will then embark Windstar Cruises’ 312-passengerStar Legend for an eight-day cruise to Lemnos, Mykonos, Kusadasi, Bodrum, Santorini and Itea before disembarking at Piraeus. The itinerary ends with an included two-night stay in Athens at the Grande Bretagne Hotel along with guided Tauck sightseeing.

The 12-day ‘Rome, the Amalfi Coast & Sicily’ program begins with a two-night hotel stay in Rome and Tauck-guided sightseeing. Travelers then embark for a seven-day cruise aboard a Ponant Explorer-class ship (eitherLe Dumont d’UrvilleorLe Bougainville), with shore excursions at Amalfi, Trapani, Palermo, Taormina, Siracusa and Gozo. After disembarking in Valletta, Malta, travelers will have a two-night hotel stay and Tauck sightseeing.

Prices for both trips starts at $11,990 per person, double occupancy and includes all shore excursions, gratuities to Tauck directors, ship staff and local guides, onboard alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, airport transfers and luggage handling.

20 ocean cruise itineraries on 18 ships

In all, Tauck will operate 20 small ship ocean cruise itineraries next year aboard 18 vessels in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Antarctica.

On the rivers of Europe, Tauck will introduce ‘Romantic Capitals: Paris to Prague,’ a 14-day journey starting with two nights at the Fairmont Golden Prague Hotel, followed by a nine-day river cruise from Regensburg to Trier along the upper Danube, Main-Danube Canal, Main, Rhine and Moselle. Participants then travel overland to Luxembourg for a walking tour of its capital city before boarding a train to Paris, where their journey concludes with a two-night stay at the L’Hotel du Collectionneur.

Then departures will be offered from April through October next year with sailings aboard Tauck’s Savorand Joyriverboats. Prices start at $9,790 per person, plus airfare.

Esprit to the Seine

2025 will also see the redeployment of Tauck’s 110-meter Espritriverboat to the Seine, following its 2024 season on the Rhine and Danube rivers. The move will double Tauck’s Seine capacity and comes ahead of an anticipated increase in bookings to France following the Summer Olympic Games in Paris later this year.

Tauck River Academy

The first-ever Tauck River Academy training event for travel advisors will take place during the company’s Oct. 6, 2025 sailing of its 10-day ‘Three Rivers: Danube, Main & Rhine’ itinerary aboard the Joyriverboat. Announced last month at ASTA’s River Cruise Expo, the Academy generated more than 500 inquiries and is quickly reaching capacity.

Additional River Academies are planned for future dates.
