Terminal Portuario Valparaíso (TPV) attended the arrival of the cruise ship Viking Octantis, which docked at the port facility as part of its 85-day sailing itinerary. During its stay, it was handled by Agunsa, according to the shipping schedule of the Empresa Portuaria de Valparaíso (EPV).
The ship brought a total of 369 cruise passengers and 262 crew members, being the fourth passenger vessel to arrive at TPV and the sixth in the current 2025-2026 season in the port city, as the remaining two operated at the Terminal Pacífico Sur (TPS).
In this regard, the ship, owned by Viking Cruises, made its second stop in Chilean territory on a journey that began on September 4 in Nuuk, Greenland, and is scheduled to end on November 28 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The cruise ship was built in 2021 by VARD Shipyards at an original cost of USD 230 million. It is 203 meters long, 24 meters wide, and has a deadweight tonnage of 30,150 tons, being capable of accommodating 378 passengers and 260 crew members in 189 cabins.
