On May 29, the naming and delivery ceremony of CULINES container newbuilding “CUL NANSHA” was held in Nansha, Guangzhou.
“CUL NANSHA” is the latest Wenchong 1930TEU Bangkokmaxcontainer ship and the first ship to be delivered under the new shipbuilding order of cooperation between CULINES and CSCC Huangpu Wenchong. It is 172 meters long, 27.5 meters wide and 14.6 meters deep, with a deadweight of 24,000 tons. Classified intoCCS.
After delivery, “CUL NANSHA” will be put into operation of SCT SERVICE, which is Nansha – Shekou – Laem Chabang – Thailand – Laem Chabang – Nansha.
The contract for four sister ships to “CUL NANSHA” was signed on 29 January 2021, The other three 1930TEU container ships and 2 newly purchasedsecond-hand ships will be delivered in the near future.
