The 268-meter floating “palace” rotting in Eleusina stands silent and abandoned, evoking awe in those who face it.

The images from the once floating palace are shocking, which has been for many years decommissioned and abandoned in the bay of Eleusina, drawing the eyes of passersby.

With a length of 268 meters the Majesty of the Oceans remains anchored for over five years in Eleusina, constituting now a familiar yet imposing element of the landscape.

The drone-shot video by Michael Miller highlights its impressive presence from above, and reminds us of the glorious eras when it performed cruises transporting thousands of passengers.

Capable of hosting almost 2,800 passengers and a crew of 833 people, the Majesty of the Oceans features pools, a casino, theaters, and luxurious spaces that today remain silent under the sky of Eleusina.

Purchased in 2020 by Seajets, it never returned to active service, remaining anchored along with other ships of the company.

The once symbol of luxury, today it constitutes a silent monument of the cruise industry and an impressive spectacle for those who face it from land, sea, or air.
