On November 23, the Phase I project of Berths 74 and 75 in the Bayuquan Port Area of Yingkou Port, constructed by the Sixth Project Department and undertaken by CCCC First Harbor Engineering Company Ltd. First Company, completed all breast wall pouring, marking the full completion of this year’s concrete construction tasks for the project.
The Phase I project of Berths 74# and 75# in the Yingkou Port Bayuquan Port Area involves the construction of two 70,000-ton-class berths (74#-75#). It is a block gravity quay with a wharf length of 506 meters. This project requires the construction of approximately 318.37 meters of new shoreline, along with land formation, foundation treatment for the corresponding hinterland area, and the supporting construction of roads, power supply and lighting, water supply and drainage, fire protection, communications, environmental protection, storage yards, and auxiliary buildings. The land area depth is 244.3 meters. The designed annual throughput is 3 million tons.
This project requires the prefabrication and installation of a total of 360 concrete blocks and unloading slabs, with a total breast wall pouring volume of approximately 4,500 cubic meters. Upon completion, the project will enhance the bulk and general cargo ship unloading capacity of the port area, strengthen the resilience of Yingkou Port’s transportation system, and reserve development space for future functional adjustments in the port area.
