Must read

The ‘Now Fest’ festival by El Jardín Digital closes its second edition with successful participation. More than 2,500 people visited Refugi 1 on the Moll de la Costa in the port of Tarragona on September 26 and 27, attracted by a program that explored the latest trends in digital art without neglecting humanist reflection. Its large available space allowed the festival to offer a wide program, with some thirty activities that included digital art performances, talks with philosophers and technology experts, concerts and DJ sessions, among other activities.

“Not only have we been able to bring national and international references from the world of culture, technology, and thought, but we have attracted a large number of the public, with different profiles and ages, but with a common point, the desire to learn and discover digital art,” stated Davinia Muñoz, the festival director. For his part, the president of the port of Tarragona, Santiago J Castellà, stated that “Now Fest places us at the artistic forefront and makes the port a door to ideas and thought.”

Most of the Now Fest activities have already taken place this weekend, although the festival will continue throughout the entire month of October in different venues. Casa Canals will host the /A proposal by Álex Augier on October 3. And on October 23, training and workshops on Web3 and NFTs will be held in this same space. The final point of the Now Fest program will be on October 24 and 25 in the amphitheater with the projection of the mapping ‘The Future is Already Here’.
