The vessel, “TBN Kypros Island”, was launched on June 25 at the Tsuneishi Shipbuilding yard on Xiushan Island in the Zhoushan area of China. It is a Kamsarmax type vessel, with a capacity of 81,200 dwt, under the Cypriot flag, with a scheduled delivery at the end of October 2026.
The company continues to strengthen its fleet with new generation vessels that comply with the requirements of Phase 3 of the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI). At the same time, a second Kamsarmax type vessel, ready for methanol use, is expected to be delivered in January 2027, reinforcing the company’s strategy for reducing emissions and maintaining its competitiveness.
