Of the 616 direct employees of the company, 49% are under 50 years old
Yesterday, the board of directors of Spinelli Srl approved the 2024 sustainability report, the third voluntary disclosure document published by the group, which highlights, among the key aspects, the economic impact of the company’s activities. In 2024, the company distributed €154 million to the community (particularly to suppliers and employees), equivalent to 89% of the economic value generated. The report also emphasizes the allocation of annual expenditures, with 94% directed to local suppliers. The analysis further reveals that out of 616 direct employees, 49% are under 50 years old.
Regarding environmental commitment, four companies in the group are ISO 14001 certified, while the benefits of targeted investments continue to materialize. These investments aim to increase intermodal transport shares and reduce the impacts of road transport, supported by a fully renewed truck fleet running on biofuel, along with constant monitoring and driver training programs on eco-driving.
The report also includes data on workplace accidents, which in 2024 decreased to a total of 14, including five in transit, all minor in severity, marking a decline of over -66% compared to the previous year.
