The group plans to establish its own vessel testing platform to conduct comprehensive validation of variousmaritimeESG equipment and systems under complex conditions. Ninecosmos brings core competencies in global meteorological and oceanic data integration, AI-powered forecasting, and intelligent route optimization. By leveraging their complementary strengths, the two parties will collaborate to advance the in-depth application of big data computing power and AI in the maritime sector, enhancing vessels’ operational intelligence, seaworthiness, and economic efficiency.
The two parties also discussed the medium to longterm carbon emission reduction strategies outlined by the International Maritime Organization. They agreed to initially implement big data computing power and AI technologies in ContiOcean’s vessel energy-saving and carbon reduction products. This integration will significantly enhance vessels’ carbon reduction effectiveness while optimizing routes, reducing fuel consumption, and mitigating potential meteorological risks for clients. Additionally, both sides held extensive discussions on the deep integration of future products.
