On the morning of July 11th, the Zhenghe International Terminal Crew Station was officially inaugurated and put into operation. The station precisely addresses the needs of crew members, integrating a range of functions such as on-site transportation, telemedicine, parcel collection, theoretical learning, rest and recreation, rights protection and dispute resolution, skill enhancement, and talent showcases, striving to create a warm harbor for crew members at the terminal. Representatives from the Taicang City Crew Industry Party Committee, Taicang High-Tech Zone, the Port Area Party Working Committee, and crew members attended the event.
On the day of the event, Taicang Port Area Hospital conducted a “Crew Medical Service Day,” offering health check-ups, medical consultations, and psychological counseling services for crew members.
Taicang Maritime Safety Administration organized a “Government Service On-Site Day,” providing explanations to crew members about intermediate and junior professional technical qualification certificates for ships, as well as the newly launched trial functions of electronic crew appointment/dismissal and crew verification on the Maritime Connect APP. The “Safe Container Transport” Party Building Alliance invited safety management experts to deliver lectures at the Container Transport Lecture Hall, sharing experiences on crew participation in grassroots water governance.
The Port Area Organization and Personnel Bureau held a policy promotion seminar, addressing crew members’ inquiries about human resources policies, cross-regional medical services, and labor contract disputes. Representatives from the Industry Party Committee also organized a high-temperature relief慰问 (comfort visit).
