A malfunction occurred on a boat sailing off the coast of Darıca. One person on the boat fell into the sea, while other passengers jumped into the water to rescue the individual at risk of drowning.
However, 2 other passengers also faced drowning due to the effects of wind and currents. Upon receiving the alert, coast guard teams swiftly responded, reaching the scene in time to prevent a tragedy. The 3 individuals who fell into the sea were rescued by the teams. It was reported that the rescued persons were in good health.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
