During the proceedings, the 2025 final budget was approved, which shows a progressively improving financial position compared to previous years, also thanks to the constant growth of the membership base, which today exceeds 110 member companies.
“I wish first of all to thank the members for their renewed trust and the entire Assiterminal structure for the great work done in these years – declared Tomaso Cognolato – A path that has led the Association to consolidate itself as the most representative entity in the Italian port terminal sector, with membership growth exceeding 30% in the last two years.”
“Particularly important – Cognolato continued – is the institutional positioning that Assiterminal has been able to build, becoming an authoritative, serious and credible interlocutor for the port system, logistics and institutions.”
The president also underlined “the importance of the membership of FS Logistix, which confirms an increasingly integrated vision between port terminals, logistics and intermodality.”
During the Assembly, the strong interest of the sector towards the first Executive Master in Port Terminal Management promoted by Assiterminal in collaboration with ForMare was also highlighted, an initiative that has already recorded the first memberships from associated companies.
