On June 23, Hudong-Zhonghua received frequent good news: the 9000TEU container ship (H1962A) built for Pacific International Lines and the 13600TEU container ship (H1947A) built for COSCO Shipping Lines entered the dock, and the second 18,600 cubic meter LNG bunkering vessel (H1931A) built for IBAIZABAL successfully ignited and commenced construction.
Pacific International Lines 9000TEU container ship H1962A entered the dock for construction. H1962A is the second 9000TEU container ship built by Hudong-Zhonghua for Pacific International Lines. The ship has a total length of 274 meters, a molded breadth of 45.6 meters, and a molded depth of 24.8 meters. It adopts the latest design concepts and is equipped with systems such as a high-efficiency main engine, energy-saving devices, shaft generator, and high-voltage shore power. A series of innovative designs endow this ship type with characteristics such as low comprehensive energy consumption, strong rapidity, and excellent green environmental protection.
COSCO Shipping Lines 13600TEU container ship entered the dock for construction. The 13600TEU large container ship is another green and environmentally friendly container ship independently developed and designed by Hudong-Zhonghua. It has a total length of approximately 336 meters, a molded breadth of 51 meters, and a molded depth of 30.2 meters, with a maximum container capacity of 14,132 TEU and providing 2,000 reefer plug positions. The design adopts the latest concepts and is equipped with a scrubber and energy-saving devices, which can meet the owner’s subsequent green fuel conversion requirements, ensuring low energy consumption, high speed, and green environmental performance.
IBAIZABAL company’s 18,600 cubic meter LNG bunkering vessel H1931A commenced construction. The owner’s site supervision team, guests invited by the owner, the classification society’s site representative, and representatives from various relevant departments of the company gathered at the site to jointly witness this key construction milestone. This vessel is the company’s version 3.0 membrane-type LNG bunkering vessel and is also the fourth 18,600 cubic meter LNG bunkering vessel undertaken by the company. It has a total length of 135.9 meters, a molded breadth of 24.5 meters, a design speed of 12 knots, and adopts the GTT MARK III FLEX type cargo containment system, with a boil-off rate as low as 0.16% per day. The serialized construction of this ship type highlights the company’s profound strength in the LNG bunkering vessel field and the market’s widespread recognition of the company.
