Three cyber security solutions developed by Navarino have been awarded BV type approval
The marine technology company Navarino has been awarded type approval for its Infinity, Angel and Spectrum security solutions, whichprovide an innovative response to the requirements of cyber security.

Cyber security
Navarino’s maritime solution Infinity, is installed on more than 9,000 vessels and is the company’s most advanced maritime bandwidth management and optimisation solution.
Spectrum meanwhile, is a software suite designed to cater specifically to the needs of maritime IT managers, while Angel is the first cybersecurity service designed and developed by the technology developer to meet the unique and diverse requirements of the merchant marine sector.
BV has developed a comprehensive framework for cyber security based on its NR659 rules on cyber security for the classification of marine units.
The framework outlines comprehensive organisational and technical measures, enabling shipowners to protect their assets, defining expectations for crews, shipyards and manufacturers.
