Naples – The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini, has signed the decree appointing Eliseo Cuccaro as the Extraordinary Commissioner of the Port System Authority of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea, based in Naples.

“The commissioner’s mandate, effective from the next October 7, is aimed at ensuring administrative continuity and the full operation of the Authority until the restoration of the ordinary governing bodies. The Ministry extends its sincere thanks to Andrea Annunziata (who has resigned, ed.) for the work carried out and the commitment dedicated to the regular management of port activities in recent months. The Mit reiterates its commitment to ensuring the management continuity of the country’s strategic hubs and confirms the centrality of the Central Tyrrhenian port system within the national logistics and infrastructure framework,” reads the Mit’s note.
