Valenciaport’s export container traffic during the month of October reflects an increase of close to 11.7% compared to the same period last year. The Valencia Port Authority has recorded that the traffic in its facilities in Valencia, Gandía and Sagunto during the month of October amounted to 6,128,740 tons, which represents a decrease of just over one point (1.25%) compared to the previous month. In contrast, the traffic recorded in TEUs experienced a growth of 4.46% as evidenced by the previous figures.

In cumulative terms, Valenciaport has moved just over 67 million tons, which represents a slight decrease of 1.2% compared to 2024. This is not the case with container traffic, which is up 3.74% more than the previous year. Since January 2025, regular line and cruise passengers have represented a total figure close to one and a half million passengers. Once again, China leads Valenciaport’s foreign trade, while the United States and Algeria are consolidated as the second and third most relevant destination if we look at TEUs.
