Valenciaport handled 492,874 TEUs in July and a total of 3.26 million between January and July. This means that in the cumulative total of the first seven months, traffic at Valenciaport has grown by 4.28%. Year-on-year, over the last twelve months, the terminals managed by the Valencia Port Authority moved 5.6 million TEUs, an 8.43% increase compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year.
Overall, Valenciaport maintained the trend of recent months in July: growth in full export containers (3.53%) and import containers (17.52%), and a decline in transshipments (-2.23%). As for Ro-Ro traffic, i.e., cargo that boards or disembarks on its own wheels, it increased by 3.65%. Rail transport also continues its upward trend with a 9.09% increase, while in passenger traffic, regular line users (466,549) surpass cruise passengers (430,223) so far this year.
