On September 10, the H1456 vessel, a 114,000-ton Aframax product oil tanker built by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding for Turkey’s YASA company, was successfully docked. Li Zhizhong, the supervisor of Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, Zhang Baoqun, the resident manager of YASA shipowner, Liu Shecai, the resident manager of Lloyd’s Register, and representatives from relevant company departments jointly attended the commencement ceremony.
During the construction of the H1456 vessel, the project team carried out various tasks in an orderly manner focusing on the four aspects of “safety, quality, schedule, and cost.” A mechanism of “weekly meetings + special coordination” was established, with the critical path leading the way. It coordinated the linkage across multiple fronts including production, design, quality inspection, and safety, and implemented the three core measures of “reducing繁琐 steps, clearing backlogs, and planning processes in advance.” With the goal of achieving block completeness at docking, the production cycle was effectively shortened. Self-inspection and specialized inspection were conducted in parallel throughout the front-end construction process, with the clearance of opinions and change orders becoming a regular practice. Communication with the shipowner was also strengthened, resource allocation was optimized in a targeted manner, and construction efficiency was continuously improved.
