Wisdom Marine Group sells its last Capesize bulk carrier

Wisdom Marine Group released its October 2025 operating data. Wisdom Marine Group confirmed the sale of its final Capesize vessel.

In the first ten months of 2025, Wisdom Marine Group achieved operating revenue of NT$13.53 billion (approximately USD 430 million), a year-on-year decrease of 20.0%; the cumulative operating profit for the first ten months was NT$2.80 billion (approximately USD 89.969 million), a year-on-year decrease of 52.4%; the cumulative pre-tax profit was NT$2.69 billion (approximately USD 86.188 million), a year-on-year decrease of 47.7%.

In October 2025, Wisdom Marine Group achieved operating revenue of NT$1.72 billion (approximately USD 56.12 million), a year-on-year increase of 6.5%; operating profit was NT$620 million (approximately USD 20.387 million), a year-on-year increase of 20.8%; pre-tax profit was NT$940 million (approximately USD 27.29 million), a year-on-year increase of 76.0%; pre-tax earnings per share were NT$1.12.

On October 21, the newbuild vessel “Paiwan Brave” (DWT 39165) joined the Wisdom Marine Group fleet.

Furthermore, Wisdom Marine Group sold its final Capesize bulk carrier, the “Frontier Bonanza” (built in 2010, 179,500 DWT), realizing a gain of approximately USD 8.4 million. Upon completion of this transaction, Wisdom Marine Group will exit the Capesize bulk carrier market.

Wisdom Marine Group’s fleet primarily consists of Handy and Panamax vessels, covering bulk carriers, log carriers, twin-deck multi-purpose vessels, and others. In recent years, Wisdom Marine Group has been progressively renewing its fleet at a pace of ordering 6-8 new vessels per year.

As of now, Wisdom Marine Group controls 128 vessels. Additionally, Wisdom Marine Group holds orders for 14 newbuild vessels, including 2 vessels of 82,000 DWT and 12 vessels of 40,000 DWT.
