Work stoppage at US port of Oakland not contract-related

Must read

There has been a US west coast port worker stoppage – but not in relation to the as-yet unresolved contract. While they are currently working without a contract, the clerk walk-out was because they have not been paid on time, with 200 outstanding wage claims dating back to June, reports SFGate.
