Neoliner Origin, the world’s first commercial sailing Ro-Ro vessel, completed its second maritime test, by RMK Maritime Shipyards.

As he specified Neoline Shipping, the tests allowed numerous systems to be tested at sea, as well as regulatory adjustments and tests.

“There is still work to be done before delivery; This work aims to perfect every technical detail and ensure that the vessel fully meets our requirements for performance, safety and environmental efficiency,” said the French shipping company.

The ship has a capacity of 265 containers, a weight of 5,300 tons and a crew of 13 people.

According to Neoline, its transportation solution can reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by up to 90% on an ocean voyage and eliminate SOx and NOx emissions.
