Xiangship Heavy Industry 56-meter Product Oil Tanker Successfully Delivered

In November, the 56-meter product oil tanker built by Hunan Xiangship Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was officially delivered to the Singaporean shipowner Gulf Marine Pte. Ltd. This is the first export ship built by Xiangship Heavy Industry for Singapore and also a significant vessel marking the first collaboration with Bureau Veritas (BV), signifying the company’s solid and steady progress in expanding its overseas market.

The vessel has an overall length of 55.8 meters, a beam of 12 meters, a design draft of 3.3 meters, and a deadweight of approximately 1,070 tons. It is equipped with 10 cargo oil tanks with a total volume of about 1,000 cubic meters, capable of transporting refined oil and oil drums. The ship features an all-welded steel structure and is equipped with a twin-engine, twin-propeller propulsion system, achieving a service speed of 10.5 knots, combining efficiency and stability. In terms of safety and environmental protection, the vessel meets the requirements of international conventions such as SOLAS, MARPOL, and MLC. It is outfitted with a CO₂ fire extinguishing system, water fire-fighting system, oil-water separator, domestic sewage treatment plant, and a comprehensive anti-static system, enabling green and safe operations. Furthermore, the ship is equipped with an intelligent control center and an efficient /unloading system, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and crew comfort. It is a high-performance product oil tanker integrating modernization and intelligence.

This delivery marks a milestone for Xiangship Heavy Industry in exploring the overseas market.
