On October 11, the second 63,800 DWT bulk carrier “Yuan Hai Qing Han”, built by Xiangyu Shipbuilding for JIC Leasing, Xiamen Financial Leasing, and COSCO Shipping Bulk Transport, was named and delivered, embarking on a new ocean journey.
Yang He, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of JIC Leasing; Guo Xiubin, Deputy Director of Shenzhen Maritime Safety Administration; Xie Huihui, Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone Authority; Yu Dehui, Director of the Nantong Office of China Classification Society; Hong Jingming, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Xiamen Financial Leasing; Zhu Wei, Deputy General Manager of the Strategy and Enterprise Management Department of COSCO Shipping Bulk Transport; Tu Jun, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of JIC Financial Leasing (Shanghai); Wang Xinyu, Party Committee Member and Chief Financial Officer of JIC Leasing; and Qin Weimin, Party General Branch Secretary and General Manager of Xiangyu Shipbuilding, attended the ceremony.
Qin Weimin stated that the 63,800 DWT bulk carrier independently developed by Xiangyu Shipbuilding has won widespread favor from the market and customers with its advantages of being “green, intelligent, and efficient.” During the project construction process, the project team collaborated effectively with all parties, delivering the vessel 80 days ahead of the contract period, fulfilling the commitment with “Xiangyu Speed” and winning recognition with “Xiangyu Quality.” In the future, Xiangyu Shipbuilding will continue to build high-quality marine equipment to high standards, deepen cooperation with all parties, and jointly paint a magnificent blueprint for the shipping industry!
Tu Jun stated that the successful delivery of the XY192 ship fully reflects Xiangyu Shipbuilding’s strong construction capabilities and also marks the success of the first cooperation between COSCO Shipping Bulk Transport and JIC Leasing. In the future, JIC Leasing will continue to promote the deep integration of green finance and the real economy, supporting the high-quality development of China’s shipping industry through “domestic ships built domestically” and “domestic goods transported domestically,” and jointly painting a new picture of the “blue economy.”
Xie Huihui stated that the successful delivery of the “Yuan Hai Qing Han” is a perfect combination of the industrial resources and advantages of Nantong and Qianhai, and a vivid practice in promoting the high-quality development of China’s marine economy. The smooth delivery of this project fully demonstrates Xiangyu Shipbuilding’s construction strength and efficient contract performance.
